Featuring Meow Wolf

This year we dove into the multiverse, partnering with our neighbors and immersive arts and entertainment professionals, Meow Wolf. They are two blocks away from us in the Siler/Rufina Arts District and see eye-to-eye with us when it comes to caring about visual arts education for children. Meow Wolf “champions otherness, weirdness, challenging norms, radical inclusion, and the power of creativity to change the world.” Their presence at our Annual Dinner & Auction promises interactive experiences with music and costumed performance.

Fabulous Food

It was an unanimous decision to return to La Fonda On the Plaza for great food, great service, and the beautiful venue. This year we won’t disappoint with 3 entree choices for everyone’s palates. Indicate your entree choices when you purchase tickets.

(Entree Choices coming soon)
All choices will come with spinach salad, bread and butter, red and white wine, and dessert served at your table.

Honorary Artist: Kevin Box

Kevin and Jennifer Box

Our Honorary Artist for 2019-20 is Santa Fe’s Kevin Box.  Box’s work celebrates the delicate nature of paper in museum quality metal sculpture. His studio and sculpture garden are located on the Turquoise Trail National Scenic Byway just outside of town and he is represented by Selby Fleetwood Gallery on Canyon Road.

He is working with Capital High School art students to create one-of-a-kind embellished sculptures for the auction. Half of the sales of the student work go directly to the students and the other half, after expenses, goes back to their school’s art program.

Kevin will have an original sculpture for sale in the live auction, deliver a short speech at the dinner, and there will be a viewing of ARTsmart’s 2020 Honorary Artist video featuring him and his work with the Capital HS students.

Live Auction

We’ll have loads of exciting live and silent auction items to tempt everyone including original art from Honorary Artist Kevin Box, plates and platters painted by 5th graders from ARTsmart Children’s Painted Ceramics Project, and many more wonderful items donated by local artists and businesses. Stay Tuned for more information.
