In the ARTsmart Community Studio Gallery
Please join us for a special exhibition of art from New Mexican artists 25 years-old and younger in conjunction with Global Climate Strike week and Climate Strike Day Santa Fe. Artists were inspired by the climate crisis and activism and their artworks will be displayed, unframed, salon-style, in this show curated by local youth leader Artemisio and Youth United for Climate Change Action (Y.U.C.C.A.) with help and oversight from EarthCare.
In Crisis will bring awareness to the international Climate Crisis by highlighting and giving voice to the creativity of New Mexico’s youth artists. This exhibition will feature works from students and youth across the state. Y.U.C.C.A aims to support the creative efforts and voices of local youth through providing an open admission gallery exhibition on the topic of climate injustice. Through participating in In Crisis, young artists use art as a tool to protect our shared future. Best in Show Awards will be given to the top three voted pieces. Sales of art to be conducted with the individual artists.
The art exhibition will be available for viewing Monday – Friday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm or by appointment (call 505.992.2787 or email tbrown@artsmartnm.org ARTsmart for appointment). Show will run until October 5th.

Hello, someone left a message about this event here at the College of Fine Arts Dean’s Office at UNM, but I didn’t get the name or number. If you have a Call for Entries flyer, we can post it or send it around.
AJ, I emailed you the Call for Artists. It is also available by clicking the link “call for Entries art submission form” above. Please share with every young artist who might be interested. Thanks! -Tori
